![]() | IGNITION Established in 2001, Ignition are a three piece indie rock band from Co. Armagh N.Ireland. Their first single "Swept Away" was released in July 2006, to much success, and a video was made to coincide, which was shown on MTV2. Debut EP "Cos There Is F**K all else", was also released early this year, and gained the band a large established fan base within Ireland and the UK. This is turn led to the band supporting Alabama 3, and Peter Hook of new Order/Joy Division in London earlier in the year. They are now recognised to be one of the best unsigned bands around.. ![]() | 4ft PIMP 4ft Pimp are a quaint, gentlemanly hard rock outfit from Southend-on-Sea. Against the grain of the current craze for formulaic rock acts, the pimps’ bizarre yet funky blend of Zappa-esque lyrics and heaving rock sounds makes them an intriguing prospect. They are blue collar rockers; tweaking notes and arguing over time signatures. The big riffs, harmonies, effect-laden tunes and dry lyrical humour prove the 4ft Pimp ethos to be if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. The band have received glowing reports from Classic Rock magazine among others, and have recently been dubbed Britain’s best unsigned band by Black Sabbath guitar legend Tony Iommi. Renowned for their aversion to the sane, 4ft Pimp live to challenge and confuse both themselves and their audience. And, with their hearts in thumb-sucking rock and their minds in the gutter, they could fast become your favourite purveyors of aural pornography. www.4ftpimp.co.uk

| Blackmarket Back in the day when we rode our bikes in packs of 7 and wore our coats by only the hoods, we would leave the house at day break and not return until the sun had completely vanished, 6 weeks seemed like 6 years, and friendship was the greatest thing on earth, we would graze our knees, but ride all day, swing from trees that pathed our way, hope, chance, faith, not even thought about, for young minds so fresh and alert, when boxes were non-existant to think in, showing off to the girl with only your cap to sink in, free and running, the fields that we spun in, our chrome metal shone from the moonlight and nerves forever high touching summer skylines, ‘we ain’t coming down, not tonight’, across town where the racquet boys stir trouble, down alleyways, another dirty handshake, in car parks they gather to show medals of paint, kids huddle round and are told to leave by jimmy the saint, a girl left staring into space thinking ‘is this it?’ for she knows only her proud mans pleasure she is cradling, to scared to run free for life, she takes one final look behind her, a silhouette slowly fades into the air, her fate laid out ahead, her grip on hope slips without a care, in a nearby bus stop, champagne fuelled suits talk down to an old word minimalist, for his words, though less, mean more and cut the air like a knife, he mutters, ‘what are you really trying to say?’, upsetting sharpened teeth, his told to repeat, he shuffles from the seat and scurries off down the road, although never letting go he slowly loosens his hands on the rope, on the backstreets where two hearts beat, where no words have to meet to know what the other means, open windowed flats, the young speaker boom pulsating, one more drunken graduate alone and frustrated, lies on a nearby bench searching for his future that’s in the making, in a doorway mad lady lilly stands staring to the sky reminiscing of a past she lost, the cost? Lust, her shop boarded up with a sign ‘for sale’, she sits in her car watching, slowly trying to let go she reaches for her bag to find tissues to cry on, in a rage hits the gas pedal flooring, losing control the minimalist gets caught in the bowling ball sawing, the champagne bottles pop, but this glass is overloading, but its to late, two hearts skip a beat, the blaring horn floods the summer nights heat, a wave of anxiety hits the bench ridden Columbus feet, his panic jumps running, starts a snowball tumbling, crowds form and slowly break off one by one, hit by the last words of the old man that come, suits return to there wardrobes, the graduate sits at the old mans toes, the booming flat windows close, the fading silhouette appears once more to let the girl know, jimmy s clan burn there engines for one last throw, young love for the first time finally let go, and lilly’s left in a heap sitting on her own, all that’s left is those innocent kids on there rubber soled metal bones, as they pass the incident in the road, there faces light, drop a gear and carry on riding way into the night…………… ! | |

![]() | Endless Summer Introducing to all you lovely people Endles Summer.. As you can see we have finally brought out the new tracks which have been long awaited by some for which we are very grateful for your patience we just hope you enjoy the songs at your leisure and please tell as many people about them as possible, spread it like an uncontrolable disease... If theres anything you wanna know please dont be afraid to ask someone else, we dont bite just scratch n poke ha ha, have fun with the tracks hope whoever you are listening that your rockin out whether its in your bedroom, prison cell, mental home, shopping mall, lift, car, truck, plane or slammin us against your eardrums on your ipod ;) The tracks on here were recorded with Jim Riley at Ranscombe Studios, pure genius tis that man!! See you all at the shows Hmmm, nice one. Endlessummer do grungy/southern rock with a certain finesse and balls. Just a trio but sounding much bigger, Endlessummer grind their way through six (although the cover artwork lists ten!?) excellent tracks and leave the listener wanting (and needing) more. Comprising Paul Whiteoak (guitar & vocals), Jim Hallett (drums & backing vocals) and Mark Ellis (bass), Endlessummer have perfected the big sound that typifies the genre; big guitar riffs, massive, punchy bass and thrashing but punctuative drums. Vocally, Whiteoak certainly has that powerful, droning delivery very much in the style of Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder. Their songs pack quite a punch too; well constructed, nicely arranged with plenty of variation to keep interest levels high. Endlessummer perform here with professionally solid, adrenalin fuelled passion; they seem well matched as a outfit and play very much as a unit. Endlessummer seem to have the whole grunge rock thing down to a fine art and get their work across extremely well with sufficient angst and plenty of commitment. Their press pack tells of a band that are, "a rock dream" and "a pleasure to work with" (not entirely rock 'n' roll then, in the historic sense!!), these guys are sure to please many and win over a few disbelievers along the way with their big mature 'chunes' and seemingly 'good boy' attitude both on and off stage. Certainly, they sound awesome here and would definitely get a mosh pit raving at any venue. And, with their own brand of enthusiastic, angst driven, grunge/southern rock flirting with the calmer aspects of dirty stoner there's sure to be many takers for Endlessummer's energetic and vibrant work. Is grunge still on the menu though? Well, if it isn't then Endlessummer will be at the front of the queue when it comes to making sure that it is - and rightly so!! Endlessummer seem to be fully geared up and ready to take on all-comers with their passionate take on rock with great songs and superb musicianship all topped with a solid, kick-ass delivery. Impressive stuff!
![]() | Schism Schism_ are an up-and-coming 3 piece Rock band from South East Essex, best described as Heavy Stoner/Rock, with a mix of upbeat high octane metal. The three friends formed Schism sometime around 2000. United by a love for good Rock music we wanted to form a band which relects this, & takes our influences & admiration of Rock & Metal in our own direction, without surcoming to any fads or trends, or hopping on the "Flavour of the month" bandwagons, like so many acts these days do. We've spent a great deal of time in studio's working on our sound & perfecting our song writing, keeping our sound as fresh & original as possible. We're creative enough to stand out from the crowd, and yet at the same time keep our songs straight forward enough to slot into any popular Rock band line-up . Thrash guitar riffs,a thumping drum beat,a deep driving bass sound & heartfelt lyrics make for a winning formula that has so far won over audiences of Schism's gigs.
