Album - Can't Wait Another Day

This is the sixth album from brooklyn based indie-popsters the ladybug transistor, and features guest apperances from architecture in helsinki, the clientele, jens lekman and vetiver amongst others.

This album comes from under the cloud of the tragic loss of their drummer san fadyl who died in april this year.

The ladybug transistor are also associated with the elephant 6 recording company collective which has also spawned the apples in stereo, neutral milk hotel, hawk and a hacksaw and of montreal, and you can tell, their sound is incredibly melodic.

The album is awash with gorgeous vocal harmonies, gently soaring guitars, twee xylophone twinkles, strings & horns flourishes and singer gary olsen’s baritone. can’t wait another day is an album of understated yet ambitious seductive indiepop.
